In standards compliant mode, FF1+, IE6+ (not quirksmode) and Op8+ all centre horizontally using margin:0 auto. However, IE5 needs text-align:center on the body whether in stds or not.
Section 1 - Just gonna centre the site horizontally in Strict Mode. Make the height a bit taller than an 800x600 client will allow. A little bit of vertical scrolling ain't bad - it's horizontal scrolling which is the no no!
Section 2 - You know, I think "centreing" spelt the english way looks a little odd! "centering" does look better! But I do prefer "centre" over "center"!
Section 3 - Do I have to use a mixture of HTML and CSS to get it to work in both IE and Firefox and make it standards compliant? Opera seems to follow whatever IE does in this respect.
Section 4 - This goes off the top. Blardy blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah and more blah blah blah blah blah blah.
