Using the TITLE attribute (on an anchor) to provide a multiline tooltip

The TITLE attribute produces a popup tooltip on all modern browsers. In IE6 you can produce a multiline tooltip by injecting a CR, but is this limited to IE? What about Firefox?

Using 
 in the tooltip seems to be better than actually hitting the ENTER key in the source. But it only works in IE.

This tooltip should have 2 lines

Is there a limit as to the length of the TITLE attribute (ie. Tooltip)...?
